I'm a content strategist
& creative director
based in downtown Durham, NC.

In 2017, after 11 years as an editor with various NC magazines, I launched my own creative services company, helping small businesses and nonprofits with content strategy and creation, branding, PR, social media, and video and event production.

I am passionate about community building, doing work that benefits the greater good, and helping entrepreneurs grow their business in a purposeful way. I love where I live, as reflected in the projects I pursue.

Content Creation

I'm a longtime writer and editor. Whether you need website copy, a newsletter template, an event program guide, a video script, or a prepared speech, I can help.

Social Media Strategy

Not sure how to use social media in a way that helps your bottom line? Looking to inject new life into neglected accounts? I can assess your brand, then offer a training, create a category plan to ensure your feeds vary in content, and pen some "evergreen" posts for you to use in the coming months.

Creative Direction

I help clients with branding. I brainstorm taglines, merchandising opportunities, event ideas, programming. I can come up with 15 video ideas for your brand. I can connect you to photographers, videographers, and web designers and manage projects from start to finish. If you're creatively stuck, let's connect.

Public Relations

I was a member of the NC media for 11 years. I can write a press release, tailor pitches to specific outlets, and get the word out about your organization or event.

Public Speaking

I've hosted a podcast, moderated panels, scripted Facebook Live videos, interviewed people on camera, and emceed events. Anything that requires a stage presence is basically right up my alley. I can also do some media training exercises with you to prepare you for the spotlight!
